As part of Giving Tuesday, 窪蹋勛圖厙 is encouraging donations to its 50th Anniversary Student Bursary Legacy Fund with the Student Society matching donations up to $15,000.
Education is the greatest equalizer but the cost can be a barrier for some students, says Geoff Wilmshurst, VP Partnerships at Camosun. A bursary can be a real game changer by providing much-needed financial relief. Now is a great time to give to a student in need as your donation will be doubled and will be part of the 50th anniversary legacy of the college!
The legacy fund marks Camosuns 50th anniversary and will help students in any program experiencing financial need to attend college. Camosun alumni are an integral part of life on Vancouver Island.
From now until Nov. 30, 2021, all donations to the up to $15,000 will be matched by the 窪蹋勛圖厙 Student Society (CCSS).
The costs related to attending post-secondary education have never been greater and the 窪蹋勛圖厙 Student Society is pleased to be able to support the 50th Anniversary Legacy Bursary to help students in financial need attend 窪蹋勛圖厙, says Puneet Kaur, CCSS External Executive.
Donations can be made online.
