Nugwa’am Ixcemga. Gayutɫan lax Gwayasdams. My KwaḰwala-given name was given to me through my Coon family. My English name is Ruth Lyall. My ancestry is ���ɾ�ḵw��̱���ܳ��龱�Գܳ�̱�� on my mother’s side and English on my father’s side. I have been a visitor in WSÁNEĆ and Lekwungen territories almost all of my life and I am very grateful to these lands, waters and people for this gracious opportunity.

I am honoured to be a member of the Eyēʔ Sqȃ’lewen, Centre for Indigenous Education & Community Connections team at ���ϳԹ���. I have worked as an Indigenous Advisor, Program Coordinator and Faculty member, and began facilitating TELTIN TTE WILNEW: Understanding Indigenous Peoples in the Spring of 2017. I now carry the role of Interim Indigenization Coordinator.
