窪蹋勛圖厙s campuses are OPEN, Wednesday, Feb. 5

Wednesday, Feb. 5, 6:30 a.m. Camosuns campuses are OPEN today. Classes and services are scheduled to run as planned.

Grounds crew have been working at Lansdowne and Interurban to spread salt and sand on parking lots, roadways and main walkways as conditions are icy. Please allow extra time when commuting, dress warmly and stay on cleared paths.

Shivinder (she/her) is a Registered Nurse who has and continues to work in mental health with children and youth in the South Vancouver Island region. She has a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) where her research aimed to bring a strengths-based perspective to understanding health of marginalized groups, specifically sexual and gender minority women who had attempted suicide.

She is also currently doing her PhD in nursing.In her role with Camosun, Shivinder is involved in teaching first and third year students in both clinical and classroom settings. She is passionate about supporting students in achieving their learning goals and creating a nurturing, engaging, and reflexive learning environment. Outside of work, Shivinder loves to spend time outside in nature. You can find her walking, hiking, or just drinking coffee outside with her partner and dog on the weekend!
